Dice Upon A Time: Critical Miss

A bit of a ramble, but hopefully the message’s not lost.

To clarify one point: Bob mentions “nearly 50 years” of Dungeon Masters noodling with the game. D&D was first published in 1974, which is only 44 years ago, but the roots of the game go back to 1970 with Wesley and Arneson’s Braunstein fantasy wargame rules. That’s a 48 year span, hence Bob’s “nearly 50 years” assessment. A bit of a stretch, but there you go.
